The Christmas story

This is the story of Jesus' birth. I think my next steps could be that I add more detail but I am pretty happy with this. Hope you all have a merry Christmas.

How are Plastic Bottles Are Recycled Into Polyester?

Did you know that your clothing and other household items might be made out of old bottles?  Do you ever think about what happens to your old bottles, well think no longer.

First your bottles are dropped of at the bottle recycling center. There is one near us called Eco Drop (25 Parkhouse Rd, Wigram, Christchurch 8042). Later the bottles go in the shredder so any unwanted liquid goes out so it doesn’t affect the quality of the plastic. The plastic is later wrapped in cellophane and boxed up ready to be shipped around the world to China.

Once they make it to China they get sorted  the clear plastic from the colour stuff. Clear plastic can be made into white clothing and or material, that can be dyed so it’s extremely valuable. Most clear bottles have colour stickers, or leaves they have got to go. Later they are put in an oven for 10 hours to dry with some white coloured material, so they have some colour in it. some people have to move their carts back and forth underneath the drums to get the bottle shreds in the cart.

Once they have been placed in the cart, they get put in a drill at 270 degrees so it’s liquid plastic . At that moment it goes through a sieve to make the cloth very thin. It gets stretched out when it’s get heated up. They tear it apart again into fluff. Then they have to box the fluff up and move it to another factory.

At the new factory the bottles get put with rough cloth. A spider type thing weaves a new sheet of Polyester and make some carefully made loops. Tough steel brushes then pull the carefully made loops. Later on they use templates to make clothing. After that the templates get sent to workers to make the coolest clothing on the market.

After this long process you now know the long journey your recycled bottles go on  to make your everyday clothing and other household items.

The ride of a lifetime

The temperature is trying to mess with me.

I see the finish line up ahead and bikers trying to past me.

I can hear the loud breathing from behind me.

I’m riding alone on a hot road with a biker trying to win past me.

My legs are thumping and my arms are too.

As I see the finish line I put my back into and speed of to first place.

I stand one the first place step I hear people yelling shot people.

I see sweaty bikers along  hot as ever.

My legs are thumping with pain but I smilie hard.

I came first.

Vast Vultures

So it was a normal day for Me getting food and eating it. But let's say I’mma vegetarian vulture so no rabbits for me please. So I was hanging out with my besties and being swag you know what I mean. So as I was saying we were looking out for some hot vulture’s. Me and My bestie are the most bravest vulture’s in our pack. Well not counting the boys well Spark is the brave boy all the rest are scared of anything even bugs. So Spark and I flew ahead and talked. Spark is a vegetarian too I found out. Then suddenly there was a lightening bolt and some thunder. Then out of nowhere there was a tornado it pulled me and Spark in with it. So this is the story of how I found this secret city.

So as I was in this tornado Spark was far away from me so I pulled myself to Spark he told me “ What are we gonna do Raven.” I had to say something I couldn’t something nothing so I said “ will find them I promise.” So it was about two hours when this tornado stop and we hit the ground with a thump and a sore backside. My backside was so sore it was as sore as a ball in the head. So  we flew down the damp dark alley. I asked Spark “ have we been here before.” Spark said “ no we haven't Raven.” Then in the distant I thought I saw a old city. I flew as fast as a racing car. Then I saw it six yards away a beautiful old city. I flew faster. I thought WOW this place is amazing. Spark yelled from somewhere behind me “ Wait Raven.” Five minutes later Spark was next to me. So we walked in I told him it would be safer to walk in not fly in because most people hate vulture’s because they think we are as scary as the deep blue sea. To be true with you need to suck it up cupcake vulture’s are not as scary as some other animals. So as I was saying we had just walked into the city. I saw a old food shop. Spark saw it too then he flew into the foodshop and helped himself to some chips I think. So I got some as well and gobbed them up as fast as a train. Then we walked down to the restroom so I could use the cold water on my face. Then I walked to Spark and said “ let’s go get some sleep.’’ So Spark and I walked down to a old motel to sleep.

I woke up with a jump I heard a thump it was as loud as a elephant. Then I heard Spark yell” Raven.” Then I flew down to see Spark and I saw a HUMAN. OMG I thought I have never been close to a human the last human tried to kill me. But this human was not killing Spark he was trying to feed Spark. So I said to the human “ Who are you and what do you want.” The young girl said “ I don’t want anything.” So I said “ Okay.” So the girl walked away. Spark yelled at me saying “ WHAT THE HECK IS WRONG WITH YOU SHE WAS GIVING ME FOOD YOU PIG YOU ARE SO DUMB CAN YOU GO AWAY AND LEAVE ME ALONE.” So I yelled back at him     “ ALL YOU CARE ABOUT IS FOOD AND NOT ME OR ANYONE ELSE THAT HAD MEAT IN IT YOU MEAT EATER YOU ARE SO ANNOYING I CAN’T BELIEVE I LIKE YOU,YOU.” I cut off I had just said I like him man I am so weird. Spark looked at me and he said “ WELL JUST AS WELL I LIKE YOU BECAUSE NO ONE LIKES YOU.” I almost cried but he said     “ Sorry Raven.’’ I said “ it is fine.” Then Spark looked at me and said “ well can you be my girlfriend.” I said “yes.”

We lived happily ever after.
